 A repeat client (thank you!) called and asked me to do a Client Appreciation event at a beautiful Delaware country club, and jt turned out to be the balmiest, most beautiful April evening:

It turned out to be my first outdoor event of the year.

35th Anniversary party with Sign-in Caricature, and MINI-caricatures!

 This lovely couple decided to make a big celebration of their 35th anniversary, with family and friends, so as to have a happy occasion to get everyone together--that's a great reason not to wait til the 50th, if you ask me! The traditional gift for the 35th is Coral, so I incorporated that into their caricature (which I drew beforehand from a great photo provided to me by the wife). 

Here they are once it was all signed. :-)

During the party, I drew MINI-caricatures for the guests! Went over well--here's a few:

Silhouettes at a Quinceanera!

On Saturday, I had the privilege of being a part of this gorgeous, Victorian-inspired Quinceanera, held in a clubhouse in mid-Delaware. The young woman celebrated her 15th birthday and entrance into 

ladyhood with her family and friends, and my silhouettes, via The Bash!

Here's my IG Reel which includes the Quinceanera's Entrance and when she is seated on her throne...

My client even asked me to add another hour to my contracted time, as the guests were absolutely delighted to get a silhouette...I cut out 50 profiles in three hours...here they ALL are!

One of the guests was a superb confectioner....

she made these incredible marzipan-decorated rice-krispie treats. I took this one home!

Having a silhouette artist in our activity was an incredible experience. God has truly blessed her with an amazing talent. 

Initially, we had agreed on a two-hour session, but we decided to extend it for an additional hour because the guests 

thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Loved it!

Sweet 16 caricatures in Rehoboth Beach!

 Every once in a while, I go further-away than usual, as I did this past weekend (to Rehoboth Beach!) for a pink-hued Sweet 16. I took along Artgirl Deb Schafer, and we drew dozens of caricatures for this lovely family event! Then we stayed overnight--and had a fun shopping excursion on the boardwalk the next morning. :-)

We started off in the foyer, for cocktail hour:

This was such a fabulous group, the energy level was off the charts!

They made sure Deb and I got to enjoy the buffet: YUM!!!!!

The following morning we drove a mile up the road and got to see this....

Easter Egg Hunt for kids with special needs

My second year at Now I Can's annual Easter Egg Hunt was a success! Drew many kids in my speedy line-drawing-only mode, thanks to generous folks who sponsored my performance.
