Caricatures at my hometown Community Day

Set up and ready to draw! I was booked to do a Community Day through one of my long-time event planners, and it turned out to be the town where I grew up. That was cool! It was held on the grounds of their huge, glossy municipal center (which was mostly just a weedy field when I was a kid---I think they even moved a house to make room for it!) 

The Mummers entertained along with me!

1st BIrthday caricatures, Wonderland-themed

Backyard birthday party decor! 

 I got in every Alice-in-Wonderland reference I could think of!

 ...but the hostess had the best sign for me!

Wellness Expo Caricatures!

Had a fun, crisp September day drawing lots of caricatures at a Wellness Expo for county employees, alongside colleague Alexander The Art!

Grand Opening Caricatures!

My caricatures were added to a fun Grand Opening celebration for a new restaurant called Choolaah! In addition to the tasty experience for the customers,  each caricature went home and then served as branding, since they all had the company logo and colors on them! The fresh and vegan-specialty Indian food went over well, too ;-)

Wedding caricatures at Winterthur!

Winterthur Museum is one of the premier destinations in Delaware for arts and culture, but it's also a wedding venue! The welcome center becomes an elegant glass-walled banquet hall. 

Below: I was able to get a photo of the bridal couple's first dance before I started caricaturing, then I didn't see them again til much later when they sat for me;

but even then, I didn't get a photo of them! I drew them while I had them, in ink, but then colored it after they'd rejoined their guests.

Arts Festival caricatures!

 Freckles! Glasses! Gap teeth! Cowlicks! I can draw them all...

Hummelstown Arts Fest 2017 is happy to have me back several years running now...I was so busy I didn't really have time to take photos, but here are a few. The girl below told me to "make me crazy"!

Anniversary party caricatures!

 This seniors residence likes to party with my caricatures! But these two ladies were shy. 

I'm usually set up in their very welcoming lobby.

This lady's name was Lorna---so I had to draw her WITH HER COOKIE!!! 

Harvest Festival 2017 Caricatures!

 For the second year, I drew caricatures at the Michall Daimion Plumbing and Heating booth at the Malvern Harvest Festival. Anyone who "liked" their Facebook page got a free caricature, so I helped them bump up their social media presence, along with having a great day on the street!

And, once again, this band played a great selection of songs oompah-style!
