Non-profit-launch caricatures for Sarah's Closet

This was a very special event to me, I have drawn caricatures for several festivities for this family over the years, and this latest one was to celebrate the launch of a charity in honor of their late daughter Sarah (whom I drew at her 28th birthday party, in 2022). Sarah was a fashionista, so suitably her non-profit will provide brand-new clothes to foster kids and teens, making difficult transitions (often with very little in the way of belongings) a little easier. Donations will fund shopping trips for these kids so that they are choosing what they'd actually like to wear. A cause that Sarah would be proud of!

Here are the founders of Sarah's Closet (her lovely parents)

...and you can see my caricature of Sarah with her dad, right between them.

Thank you for having me for such a special occasion!

5k Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness---drawing caricatures in the morning for a great cause!

My caricatures were part of the Making Strides 5k walk's ending festivities, at nearby Bellevue Park.
So bright and early at 8:45 am, I was already busy!!
Lots of pink markers got used today!

Thanks to the American Cancer Society for having me, and to CSC for sponsoring the caricatures(  ...all of which had their logos printed on them ;-)

Gala fundraiser Caricatures!

This is the second time I have been invited to draw guests at this fabulous fundraiser:

Kennedy's Cause. (The first time was prior to the pandemic.)

They like themed events--this one was called Shining through the Decades---so the guests were wearing all sorts of different outfits. I was in the 1920's room, which was perfect because the building itself was built in 1925! And I own the perfect HAT!

(here's a link to my Reel on IG)

Here are some of my sitters:

Thanks again for having me, Kennedy and family!

Uville Mini-THON caricatures!

Back for this high school's cancer-fighting all-night marathon fundraiser!

They keep this student-made sign and use it every year! :-)
I worked with two other lady caricaturists this time! And we all kept plenty busy.
For even more speed, I did my line-drawing only mode of caricature (no shading).

These students had ALL sorts of things to keep them occupied all night! Including a PUPPY ROOM!
Thanks for having me back! And keep kicking cancer's butt!
