80th birthday caricatures!

For my second gig of the day: These two lovely identical twin ladies received a birthday party at a favorite venue of mine, 

Harry's Savoy Grill in Delaware...and my caricatures were the surprise!

Starting 2020 with a caricature gig--an 80th birthday celebration!

This gentleman had family come from all parts of the country, to help celebrate his 80th birthday on New Year's Day 2020! 

It was held at the beautiful DuPont Country Club near Wilmington, Delaware on a crisp winter's day, the Christmas tree still up in the dining room.

I drew singles, couples and family groups, and kept busy for four hours!

My client, the birthday gentleman's daughter, found me on Gigmasters which is now known as TheBash.com. She was kind enough to leave me a wonderful review, the day after! Thank you Liz!

An elegant gentleman's 80th birthday...his caricature had a 'guest star' in it!

 Back in April, this family threw a lovely country-club birthday party for their father/grandfather/husband. I drew all of the guests first and left the guest of honor for last. 

When I got to him, they all clamored to have me draw DONALD TRUMP being kicked out of a business meeting by their beloved family member. Apparently he really did do just that many years ago! (Good for him!)

I'm glad I left him for the finale because I couldn't have topped that!

The guests were all a hoot, I had so much fun drawing everyone!

A double 80th birthday for husband and wife!

Peggy and Richard were given a surprise party in their daughter's home and part of the surprise was CARICATURES!!!
The house was overflowing with guests (and love) and I drew most of them!

I was able to get some great reaction shots of these two! In case you're wondering, I'm not even looking at my phone when I take these pics---the easel shot is planned, then I just keep hitting the button afterwards!

Buon 80 compleanno con caricature!

A very special 80th birthday party...for the man of the moment, Carmine, and for this artist...because my client, Carmine's son-in-law, was an old friend from high school I hadn't seen since 1982! More on that in a bit....first, here is the youthful (80 is the new 50, donchaknow) birthday boy and his lovely wife:

I think it's safe to say that everyone enjoyed my efforts!

There's a reason I did red and green backgrounds. ;-)

 The family asked that I draw the restaurateur and his sons: fun reaction!!
