8th grade grad/dance party caricatures!

 I have done this huge, joyous 8th grade grad celebration/formal dance a couple of times, this was the second year with my friend ArtGirl Deb. The theme was Starry Night, and I have my galaxy dress on, but you can't really see it in this pic...

8th grade formal at Country Club with caricatures!

Eight grade graduations at Catholic schools are a big deal...for this small class, their parents pulled out all the stops to give them a very memorable occasion, including CARICATURES!

And here they all are!

8th grade formal with TWO caricaturists!

There were almost 300 students at this dance, so we both did line-drawing-only caricatures, I drew almost 60 kids in three hours!

There were a few moms sprinkled in there too!

8th grade graduation dance caricatures!

I drew ALL the students in the class of 2023 at this New York-themed 8th grade graduation dance. :-)

But I only got photos of these three...because it was a full-color gig and I was focused on getting them all done in two hours! :-) And I did!

Fun 8th grad grad party---in historic venue...

 I've been here to Aronimink Golf Club before for a gig, but not indoors...this time, I was situated in the Grand Ballroom.

(This was after arriving in the smoky dense air which permeated the entire Northeastern USA that day!)

The occasion was an 8th grade graduation celebration for a local private school... so they're really the class of 2027...

The minute dinner was over, this caricature artist was busy!!!

 Lots of guests, so I used

 my Line-Drawing-Only mode, to get them all done!

So.. aside from the fact that I love caricaturing in any venue, this one was particularly neat because we have a photo of my husband's grandfather, in 1939, in the same ballroom!!!

Eighth-grade graduation celebration caricatures!

This school books me every year for their eight graders' graduation celebration, held in the school's all-purpose room. I'm usually slammed so there aren't many photos...just a boy and a girl this time. Congrats Class of 2019!

Recurring eight grade grad caricatures

I'm always pleased to be invited back to events year after year. This is an eight grade post-graduation party at a Catholic school, held in their multi-purpose room. Some of the students are younger siblings of  kids I've drawn in the past, so they look forward to me being there!
