Post-Holiday staff party caricatures part 2!

This evening's caricatures were done for the staff party, at another location of this wonderful pub.

Forgot to mention, that both this and the previous staff party were held on BITTERLY cold nights--
we are having a nasty cold snap in our area--so, kudos to everyone who showed up! That's why I'm wearing my Hello Kitty hat!

Oh, and the dress code was "Winter White". These ladies got the memo!

Again, thanks to Lauren for having me! This is the feedback she left on my Google listing:

Emily did an amazing job at 2 of my restaurants staff parties!!
The staff loved the caricature drawings and had so much fun.
Emily was very professional and organized from start to finish.
Thank you from Magerks!

Post-Holiday staff party caricatures part 1...

December is often just too busy for some companies to have their own holiday party...

this local restaurant chain's owner closes each one to the public for an evening, so the staff can be treated to a festivity just for them! My caricatures were part of it twice, these are from the first location:

Thanks for having me, and for Gigsalad for putting us together!

Post-holiday company party caricatures!

My second year doing STEALTH CARICATURES for this company party was a big success! It was held in a different location of the same local chain restaurant as last year. I did my thing sneaking around with my clipboard, and everyone loved their surprise, including the owner:

I drew some dancers:

and some head shots:
...and some profiles!
Here's the Ambiance Reel from IG.

Thanks for having me!

Family Caricatures at church's Christmas Luau

This evening's gig was bout a mile from this scenic overlook, which I checked out because I had actually never been to this little town on the river (almost across from where I live!)  So I enjoyed a few minutes of post-sunset and took a few photos. When I got back into my car....it wouldn't start...

After frantically calling my husband, (who was literally 6 miles away) he asked me if anything was lighting up on my dashboard as I tried to start it. Yes...the key fob! It turned out that it was on its last dregs of battery juice, and if I held it right next to the ignition, the car would start. So I drove a mile to my gig (of course, I was still waaaaay early) and told my client I wasn't sure if it would start when I was ready to leave and she was so nice--she said they'd make sure I'd get home, if I needed any help.

I got right to caricaturing when everyone arrived...and so busy I didn't get a photo of Santa (but he was there too ;-) It was a luau party, too!

Thankyou so much for your kindness and in having my caricatures! Merry Christmas!

Tropical Christmas Caricatures...

...at a Gala Fundraiser. I have done this event for several years... but in the past, I cut silhouettes. This year, the client changed it up...instead of black tie, it was now tropical-themed! So my mini-caricatures came in, to the sound of steel drums!

Everyone was wearing FLORALS!

I told these two they reminded me of Sherilyn Fenn and a young Ben Stein!

This won't be the last of the tropical themed Christmas parties I have this month, either! I have another one coming up, for a totally different client!
