What a gorgeous spot to draw some caricatures! This is a lounge in a 55+ community, and the day was dedicated to celebrating the employees:

Employee Appreciation caricatures!

 Did an afternoon of fun drawings for Goofy Faces at an employee appreciation event!

Shading is done with CopicSketch markers in an array of warm grays. 

Staff appreciation caricatures...

...for a national caricature-artist agency. 

I should wear lipstick more often (wore it to go with their logo!)

The ladies were appreciative of being appreciated! ;-)

Staff appreciation caricatures, just before everyone went home for the holidays!

 My local institution of higher learning, the University of Delaware, held a party for their food-service staff right before the Christmas break...they invited me....and it was huge FUN!

Oooh, so close!! I love when clients make signs for me, even if they are misspelled!  (LOL-when we got married. my husband told me many, MANY folks would write "Burn" or "Bryne" even he spelled it aloud for them...and he's right!

I have this sign hanging up in my studio now. :-D

Employee Appreciation Caricatures!

 This company treats its employees to a blowout party every year on the anniversary of its founding. And it is the 2nd year I have helped them celebrate with caricatures!

They had live music, a charcuterie table that was more like a charcuterie mountain, and live music too! But I got a kick out of the company initials made out of pineapples, floating in the punch! Thanks for having me back!

 Yup, if it's crabby, it's Maryland. Thanks to The Nose Caricature Co. for hooking me up with this fun event! They sent me home with a box of just-cooked crabs---you should smell my car now! :-D

This company held an informal barbecue at the home of one of its employees, with good food, a big inflatable water slide for the kids and my caricatures! Yay!

Call Center Caricatures on an Employee Appreciation Day!

This was a fun gig for me: ALL COLOR CARICATURES!

These two wanted to be drawn as Thelma and Louise!!!! 

This lady trained new hires, so I got silly on her word balloon..

Everyone there worked in a vast, open-plan office. When they found out caricatures were to be part of their festivities, this lady pulled me to her cubicle and showed me this:

I'd drawn her and her daughter in 2009!!!

A hippie-themed picnic with a food truck turned into an indoor event due to a heat wave...but I still had fun drawing these employees at an assisted living residence...

Employee Appreciation Day Caricatures!

It's always a nice feeling when a workplace does fun things for the  employees. This particular weekday afternoon was spent drawing caricatures for the team members in an assisted living residence. I was able to add little themes for everybody, too---hence the chef got his cleaver and most of the ladies got cell phones----or various forms of alcoholic beverages! ;-)

Luckily, they had a copy machine big enough to make copies, so they can have a wall of fame!

LOL! I just noticed there are two copies of the same lady on the table!!! 

Team member Appreciation Caricatures

Weekday-workplace gigs are not as common for me as weekend-party ones, but they sure are a bright spot in the day for the employees! This was for the team at an assisted-living residence,  and lots of them were big fans of wine for some reason!

...and one was a Pokeball fan. :-)
