Wedding Save-the-Date Caricature

Just received this sweeeeeeet photo from a couple whom I airbrushed-caricatured a few months ago. At my suggestion, they used my caricature on their Save-the-Date cards for their wedding!
It's so delightfully gratifying to see my work used for this purpose. Congrats to you, Amy and Rob!

Another Philly-centric wedding save-the-date card

I seem to be doing these Philly-landmark digital pen & inks on a regular basis (thanks to people finding them here on my blog! :-)
This couple customized theirs with the Phanatic doing the King Kong routine---and their dog doing the Snoopy-as-Red-Baron routine! While things like that make it enjoyable for me to create, it also makes their save-the-date card very particular to them and should give their recipients that knowing smile of recognition.

Caricature Save-the-Date-for-our-Wedding Magnet

Save-the-Date cards are popular, but this one is headed for all this couple's friends' refrigerators! They had my digital caricature printed on 4 x 6 magnets.  This commission was a lot of fun to do. The bride had some great ideas...
Philadelphia landmarks and the wedding venue make up the background, and their beloved cat is a tiny silhouette in one of the windows. I went for a watercolor look and palette, because it suited their clothing colors and the architecture.  Besides the all-important date, the couple's wedding website is also printed on it. I provided them with a non-text version of the art if they wanted to use it for anything else.
Yes, it ended up on my refrigerator, too! Thank you, Rachel and Eric!
