Mini-THON caricatures!

 

Back at this local high school, for the umpteenth time thanks to a wonderful art teacher...who is retiring! Thank you Faith, for many years of having me at this fabulous fundraiser for pediatric cancer.

And thanks to Donna Klein, fellow caricaturist, for these two photos of me, mid-caricature!

Employee Retreat Caricatures

When I took on this luncheon employee retreat event, I figured I'd spend the afternoon on the beach in Rehoboth, DE afterwards...of course, later on I was asked to do a wedding that evening in Lancaster, PA. So I did ALOT of driving that day...but it was worth it for the smiles it gave to my caricaturees! ;-)

I did get a pleasant morning hour on a boardwalk bench prior to starting, 

 And here are the attendees! Along with my IG Reel.

I combined the actual drawing with a Q and A since it was a small group. Yes, I CAN talk and draw!

College Block Party Silhouettes!

 Temple University knows how to throw a block party! They provided not only my silhouettes, but two caricaturists, stiltwalkers, face painting, cotton candy, balloons, funnel cake, hotdogs and a band, for hundreds of students enjoying the end of the semester and a spring afternoon on campus!

So... I was able to do dozens of silhouettes for students who were mostly girls. At the end, a few boys did show up! Here's a few:

As for the other two artists, who were doing caricatures...one was someone I hadn't seen in ten years, and the other I had never met...we all set up in a row and were very busy, so the time went by LIKE THAT. 

"Smudge" and Jared Phillips, both from NJ.

And I got to meet some stunningly dressed stilt walkers,,,who were just TOO TALL for me to silhouette!

Amazing! She showed up early and did an amazing job at our festival themed event. We booked her for silhouettes at this event and everyone loved her. I’ve been at a previous event where she did caricatures and they were amazing too!

Belated wedding reception MINI-CAricatures!

 This lovely couple got married five years ago just as the Covid-19 pandemic was gripping our country. They couldn't have a reception then, but they did this weekend--they called it their AFTER PARTY----and my MINI-caricatures were a part of it!

Of course, I drew a full-length, full color deluxe caricature for them. :-)

The venue was one I was familiar with, The Dahlia, right on the rivier in Wilmington, not far from my home--so that was nice for me!

And I wore my new hat, from my friend Celestia!

Easter Egg Hunt Caricatures...

...for children of varying abilities (think beeping eggs for sight-impaired, etc.). The Now I Can Northeast organization put on their 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt, and they asked me to bring my caricature skills out to Lancaster, PA. So I did! And I got to enjoy meeting the little egg-hunters, and the Egg-Leaver himself!

Didn't take many pics, as being speedy as a rabbit here ( doing line-drawing -only caricatures) meant more kids got drawn...

If there were 10 stars, I would give them! We found Emily on Google, and what a perfect fit she was for an Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs. She was kind, sensitive, and thoughtful in her approach to the children AND her caricatures were terrific!! Each caricature was fun and an excellent representation of each child.
