They'd done some advertising!
My first museum silhouette gig took place this week! The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia had an evening event called Love Letters: History After Hours, and folks could try writing with a quill, viewing the galleries, having a bit to eat, and getting a silhouette cut.
Arrival at the museum...pre-rush hour...
I got there early enough to enjoy walking through some of the very interesting galleries...and found a silhouette! Attribution unknown. Well, the artist may have been unknown, but their work lives forever.
Now for some silhouettes!
...it was a mix of singles and many couples in hearts!
Then there were these two, who asked to be back-to-back. I was up for a challenge!
But then when I took the photo, they were standing on the wrong side!!!
Finally, my favorite of the night....a Revolutionary in period dress.
Thanks to the Museum for having me, and Gigmasters for putting us together!
