Wedding caricatures cheerfully entertain... despite Tropical Storm Ophelia!

Tropical Storm Ophelia intruded on this stylish wedding, but made it all the more memorable!
(And I immortalized it in their caricature!)
I met this couple when I drew at the groom's sister's wedding, and have been to this fabulous venue lots of times since then...(including last weekend!)

There was a live band playing swing music all evening!

The rain was torrential during the ceremony but it went on in dramatic fashion!

This is looking out from the barn to the amphitheater.

Here are some of the caricatures!

I wore my new antique hat for this event!

Thank you for having me, Adam and Angela!! Congrats!!

Barn wedding caricatures for a kilted groom and his bonnie bride!

This bride and groom booked me a whole year ago, after meeting me at a wedding fair at this venue
(Loblolly Acres), and their big day finally arrived! I don't think I ever drew a groom in a kilt before.
I also drew the groom with his attendants:
...and a precious little poodle was in the wedding party! She got drawn twice:
Lots of happy guests here at Loblolly Acres!

Afterwards, I got a selfie with my fascinator bathed in neon light!
...and the venue posted this photo on their IG--the back view of my fascinator!
Thank you to my clients for having me, and Loblolly Acres for that photo (and everything else you do to make my job easy!!)

Corporate party caricatures at South Bowl

 Can you spot my easel?

Ok, here it is:

South Bowl is one of my favorite venues! Love gigging there.

My client was coming in from Oakland, CA and he booked me to draw caricatures for this group of professionals from all over the country. Fun night!!

Thanks so much to both my client and a great venue!

Silhouettes at a corporate bbq...

A beautiful September Tuesday found me scheduled for two gigs,
an afternoon one doing silhouettes and an evening one doing caricatures.
This was a nice company get-together in the courtyard of an office building...
After I set up under their tent, I asked if they had any dry erasers--so I could make their directional sign a little nicer ;-)
The silhouettes were thoroughly enjoyed!

It was a little breezy, so it was the first time I got to use this awesome Victorian clip I bought in a Manayunk antique place when I gigged there in August...it's holding my translucent envelopes down.
And I wore my scissors necklace!
Thanks for having me!
