History Festival Silhouettes

On a misty springtime Saturday,  I found myself sort of in period garb, cutting silhouetttes!
It started out slowly, and then I was busy. Lots of kids and a few adults...

Fun day!

Healthcare Caricatures

Another instance where I generally don't photograph subjects, just drawings, is if they're patients: so here are a few who sat for me at a luncheon event. But the staff are good for it!

This nurse told me to make her look like she was working really hard!! Bwahahahahha!

Corporate Happy Hour Caricatures...super-hero themed!

What a hoot!!! This event was unusual for me in that I did color caricatures with bodies.

Caricatures at Trade Show booth draws folks in (like a magnet ;-)

My caricatures played a huuuuge role at a lighting industry trade show booth, in Philly. The company was celebrating its first birthday...so they had me draw some key employees from photos (and a cupcake) beforehand, to use on their website:
Then at the actual show, they had an animation of the caricatures playing while they talked up prospective clients...

as I caricatured them!
There were plenty of international guests as well as folks from our own backyard. AND SOME GREAT FACES!

One person in line was kind enough to take a time-lapse of an entire caricature for me, you can see it here on my Instagram too. It's of the lady wearing the blue lanyard, a few photos above.

Thanks for having me, and happy birthday, Holm! Thanks also to Gigmasters for hooking us up!

First Communion Caricatures

A sweet young lady and her family celebrated her 1st Communion with a festive party in their home.
So I drew her first, in color, then got to work on all the great faces of the guests:

This one was SO MUCH FUN!!!!
For my finale, I drew the host and hostess and their family. I really, really love my job. :-)

Two-groom wedding caricatures in historic house...

It was my pleasure to draw caricatures at the spring wedding of these two gentlemen...because I was also present at their proposal (which took place at a gala fundraising event) and that was my 1st caricature of them :-)
So the wedding was long awaited and held at a lovely historic venue in Delaware
Did their caricature beforehand from photos, so folks could sign it as they arrived.
Look at this lovely room where I set up!

The wedding colors were fun---purple and green.
I tried to get photos of everyone, but I know I missed a few. I managed to draw 50+ folks in 4.5 hours. :-) Whew!
So here goes:

There was also a tent for dining and dancing in the garden, and I managed to get a few good photos of that...:-)
Goodnight!
Love the purple lighting!! Congrats, you guys, and thanks for having me!
