Baby blue 1st birthday caricatures!

Isn't this child adorable? Her grandmother booked me for her 1st birthday party, as I had drawn for her previously at this little girl's aunt's Sweet 16 (in 2014!) I have been getting an influx of repeat clients from years ago lately, it is so appreciated!

Here is my former Sweet 16 girl, whom I remember well---it snowed the day of her party, and she had an awesome black and fuschia dress!

This is the GREAT-grandfather of the birthday girl!

I met a very skillful face painter at this event, @joyful_canvas, and she took this wonderful photo of me doing my thing. (Unfortunately, I could not get any pics of her at work, as I was so busy!) Thank you Rebekah!

Annual Bocce Party/family reunion caricatures!

This party was a blast from the past...when I arrived, the host and hostess told me I had drawn at the uncle's home in Delaware around fifteen or more years ago. Their family has held a bocce party/family reunion in June for 37 years!!!!!! I am trying to find pictures from the first one, no luck yet. But the kicker was, I'd included some of their cousins in my very first "Caricature Reaction" video, here on Youtube (they are at 4:30). They also may have been my VERY FIRST stealth caricature reaction video!!!! I remember the then-new Canon camera I'd just gotten, that had video capability!

This guy was drawn with his daughter and then his wife! And looks the same in each one ;-)

The lady on the left is an eminent local watercolorist so we had a nice chat. 

Another two-time-subject: she got one with her dad (the very 1st photo. way above) and this one is with her brother (hence the BFF).

So here are the long-ago subjects, as seen on my Youtube video. They weren't in attendance this time. The kid is probably 30 years old by now!

On the bottom, is a caricature done in 2006 by my friend Pat Harrington, of the late parents of my client. They were missed, but on display, and still making folks smile... This is another reason (among many!) why caricatures are awesome!

Backyard wedding extraordinaire!

 On Saturday, I headed a bit more south into Delaware to draw at a long-awaited wedding for a happy young couple--whose dog was part of the proceedings, too!

Here's a bigger version of the bride being escorted across the FRONT lawn...towards the waiting guests:

An elegant tent in the BACK yard prevented the very few stray showers that were around, from affecting the celebrations. Food and drink were provided by whimsical food trucks! So easy!!

My lovely client booked me in January of 2020...for a March 2020 event. Well, you know what happened THERE...a pandemic. So this evening's event used a deposit paid almost two and a half years ago...
