Pink and Orange 30th Birthday Caricatures!

Well, this weekend, the weather decided to be just *perfect* for outdoor parties! Everyone enjoyed sitting outside and getting a caricature from me, at this early-evening backyard 30th birthday party. First up was the birthday girl, and she included her hubby and kids in her color caricature. :-)

Then came a stream of guests of all ages. :-)

My lovely client had this to say on Gigsalad, where she booked me:

Sweltering (but swell!) company picnic caricatures!

 Heat and humidity with late-afternoon thunderstorms...that's July in Pennsylvania...

But we were safe under the most substantial pavilion in this community park for a company picnic.

 There was a stage at one end, which I shared with the photo booth and the face painters (who were kind enough to lend me a paper towel to mop myself off)

I'm glistening! And you'll see that my sitters were too!

These last two ladies only took their hair down while I drew them! ;-)

Thanks for having me! And yay for indoor REFRIGERATION which I am sure everyone enjoyed after this event!

Gala fundraiser Caricatures!

This is the second time I have been invited to draw guests at this fabulous fundraiser:

Kennedy's Cause. (The first time was prior to the pandemic.) 

They like themed events--this one was called Shining through the Decades---so the guests were wearing all sorts of different outfits. I was in the 1920's room, which was perfect because the building itself was built in 1925! And I own the perfect HAT!

90th Birthday Party Caricatures for a beloved gentleman

 I have not experienced many 90th birthday events at all, so this party was a stand-out! 

The wife was my client, and had seen me at a holiday event I did last year. She was also a stand-out, in that she preferred to do my entire booking process the old-school way...by phone and snail-mail. (Which brought back memories of the way I ran things when I first started my caricature career...no email, online contracts, GPS, etc.) 

A very fun early evening was had by all! Thanks for including my caricatures!
