Second-to-last gig of 2023 (and it was the same in 2022, as well ;-)

This law firm has booked me several times to provide caricature entertainment at their holiday brunch. This year, they asked me to bring a colleague, so I brought my friend Artgirl Deb Schafer... and we drew up a holly-jolly bunch of legal folk.

Someone said to draw these two with the grumpy Muppets on the balcony...so I did!!

These two get drawn every year. This is probably their 4th by me!

You can just about see tiny Deb across the room from where I was!

Somehow, we always match at gigs, without planning it!

Another night of holiday caricatures for the same company (different employees, though!)

I THINK I wore a different outfit!

It was also the same venue (South Bowl) but I sat in a whole different downstairs area for the first time.

And now, I can use barstool height chairs since my new tripod easel allows me to do so!

Hahaha...don't ask!

Caricatures at a returning-to-my-calendar Holiday party (it's one of my longest-running annual gigs)

 This jolly annual event hadn't happened in some years, partly due to the pandemic, but also due to the unexpected passing of the gentleman who ran it every year and was a very loyal client of mine.

 There was a sweet commemorative display, both for him and some of the other party attendees who'd passed (which I was very sad to see, as I often drew them over the years.) 

RIP to them, and they would want these festivities to go on---and they have!

And I got to see some of Mystique the Magician's act this year!

Here's the new director, he's happy to see his new caricature!

Holiday Cookies and Caricatures event at senior community!

 

I had a line ready and waiting for me, since I am now a familiar entertainment to the residents and their families here!

Thank you to my happy client! We ate some cookies together afterwards!

Hockey Holiday Party!

 This men's hockey team and their families decided caricatures would be fun at their holiday party, held in one of their homes. I was ensconced in a home office just off the kitchen:

This is their logo, which is hilarious. I asked if they were sponsored by an assisted living facility...

he said No! "We're OLD and we play HOCKEY!"

GET IT???????
