Holiday Party #4 of 2016...new drawing table!

I have ditched my French easel for a lightweight, simple, and most importantly NOT VERTICAL drawing surface! (Many years of caricaturing on an upright surface have given me shoulder issues. (Most often, onlookers ask if my hand hurts from drawing so much! No, it's my shoulder!)
This was my first gig using this slightly-slanted table, which I bought in a thrift shop. I later found out it is an Ikea laptop table
The party was for residents of a senior-living village. They had a gargantuan tree!

Holiday Party #5 of 2016

Another holiday party! This one was for a law firm!
Yes, I'd want this guy defending me in court---in that suit!!

The new drawing board was definitely working out for me!
The lobby had a mural I liked:
Roses and topiary at Longwood Gardens. Love it!

Holiday Party #1 of 2016

My longest-running annual gig...a huuuuuuge children's Christmas party. This year my colleagues were Pat Harrington, Joe White and Julie Borysowski!
Top right is the daughter and cute 'lil granddaughter of a friend, from back when I did my first-ever caricature events...we were both on our kids' school's PTO together. So she REALLY knew me when!

ISCA convention 2016...awards night!

Roomies ready to descend on the dinner/awards banquet! Well, actually our room was on the ground floor, so we didn't really have to descend, but...you get my drift.
Below, a panoramic view of a roomful of caricaturists all dressed to the nines! Click to enlarge!

Check out some of the amazing styles of these artists!!!
The Austrians!!!
The Michael White!!!
The dear, dear Dutch friend!
