Caricatures at the Fun-and-Games Post-prom!

The decor was hilarious at this school! They always outdo themselves. And they have a public walk-through before the prom-goers arrive.
ZZZZZPTTT! This thing really worked! And the tool is barbecue tongs!!!
I arrived early enough to chill out in their lounge for awhile. It's a marathon gig, 11 pm to 4 am...so it's the only time of year I ever touch Red Bull...
Ready to caricature!!!
I slept well the next daaaaaaay.

Bar Mitzvah Caricatures!

This young man is an aspiring guitarist!
Here he is with his buddies at his Bar Mitzvah celebration.
I'm so glad caricatures are so popular at mitzvahs, I wonder how that became so?

Earth Day Parade 2017 in Philly... my first activist event with my homemade caricature sign!

The world is in a dreadful state lately, so I decided to march with the Freethought Society on Earth Day.  Philly had one of the largest parades in the USA, even though it was a dreary, chilly, rainy day. I airbrushed a quick Mr. Einstein the night before---and then I met his doppelganger that morning at City Hall! There were LOTS of people marching, and lots of great signs!!
He was enshrouded in plastic at first because of the drizzle.
Hey look--it's Ben Franklin and Thomas Paine!!!
Here's Mr. Paine's sign:
Some others:

I found lots of pics of my sign on social media and it even made the local paper, The Philadelphia Inquirer.
My husband added the arrows and posted this one on his Facebook! LOL

Afterwards, everyone met on the waterfront for a rally. Pictured is Margaret Downey, founder of the Freethought Society, (and my friend!) making a speech.

Easter Brunch Caricatures

Easter Sunday is a day to spend brunching with other families, meeting the Easter Bunny...and getting a caricature!
What a setting!!! Usually at this venue, I'm set up in the ballroom. This was the first time they put me in the library....even though the sign says hallway, I had too much of a crowd there! ;-)
Minor catastrophy at this gig...I'd forgotten to pack my little drawing table. So I improvised with a desk pad I found where they seated me, WHAT LUCK!
Not just for kids, either!

Caricatures at another 1st birthday!

Another mouse-centered party!
This sweet little one had all her family and friends there, in a historic house venue.
Both sets of grandparents got caricatures:
These two were celebrating their 40th anniversary!
Now for some guests:

Fun faces!!!
My little Ikea table is still holding up!
