Easter Brunch Caricatures

Easter Sunday is a day to spend brunching with other families, meeting the Easter Bunny...and getting a caricature!
What a setting!!! Usually at this venue, I'm set up in the ballroom. This was the first time they put me in the library....even though the sign says hallway, I had too much of a crowd there! ;-)
Minor catastrophy at this gig...I'd forgotten to pack my little drawing table. So I improvised with a desk pad I found where they seated me, WHAT LUCK!
Not just for kids, either!

Easter Brunch Caricatures 2016

The Union League is definitely an upscale place in which to draw caricatures! :-) For the kids, it was more about the Easter Bunny than caricatures,  but the parents of my subjects were very happy!

I spy an Easter Bunny!

Easter Brunch caricatures!

My gig on New Year's went so well that I was asked back to draw caricatures on Easter in this sumptuous setting:
The easel and my little ergonomic chair didn't quite fit in amidst the marble, leather and nineteenth-century oil paintings:
and the closest I got to the Easter Bunny was this sign:
But I happily drew everyone in their Easter finery. :-)
Got the photo right before the floodgates opened up. ;-)
