Stroll-the-Street Caricatures!

Last summer,  I was able to do several of these events for this client, but my schedule this year only allowed for just this one...

It was a noticeably smoky bad-air-quality kind of evening...my client even called in the afternoon and offered to let me reschedule. I was already nearby at my first gig of the day, and figured there'd be plenty of people to draw (I was right on that :-)

Thanks for consistently booking me!

Corporate event caricatures on a smoky day...

It's not haze, it's smoke from wildfires drifting down from Canada. Luckily, the first event on this particular Thursday, was being held in a nice air-conditioned hotel...

Drew for a couple of hours here...then it was off to an outdoor event in the evening...

Grad Party caricatures!

Third event of the weekend, also third event on water!!!! :-D
This is a very cool sports bar/restaurant venue, which sits on the White Clay Creek in Newark, Delaware.
Here's the man of the moment:

Had a blast drawing his friends and fam! (His parents were drawn a couple of years ago
at a Bocce-ball BBQ that I have done several times.)

Thanks for having me, Liam and CONGRATS!!

Brandywine River Museum Wedding Reception--with caricatures!

What a fabulous venue for a wedding reception! The Brandywine River Museum is the home of many NC Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth paintings...and this caricaturist got to do her thing in close proximity to them!!

Here is a link to my IG showing the NC Wyeth gallery.

You can see the riverbank to the left,  from the second floor area where I was situated.
The museum is a restored grist mill that sits on the banks of the Brandywine River in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

and now for some caricatures!

What a fabulous night! Thank you for having me!

Riverboat Caricatures!

A pair of really nice, previous clients from 2020 (a year when I had only a handful of gigs, so I remembered them well)

...asked if I could draw while on a boat!

I said, of course I can!

So I headed down Maryland way, through some June scattered torrential downpours...to a seafood restaurant on the banks of the Choptank River (they said cruise was rain or no rain!) with the goal of drawing caricatures at a company's 20th anniversary party! Here is the OUTSIDE view:

Here is the INSIDE view:
Right by the paddle-wheel!

Yes, it was a crab feast. No I didn't have any...can't draw with Old Bay smeared all over my drawing hand!

Here are some of the happy faces that passed by my easel that rainy night:

I didn't see much of the cruise itself because I was working, but I did catch this view:

And it cleared up enough to have a bit of a sunset, yay!

Thanks to my wonderful clients for having me back!
