A very happy 7th birthday party, with caricatures of all the kids!

Happy birthday to this young man, whose December birthday was celebrated at a cool restaurant with all kinds of activities to enjoy (including my caricatures!) He wanted to be drawn BOXING!
I drew just kids at this one, and there were ALOT, so not many photos were taken. Then I had to hightail it to another event later that day!

I love being in new-to-me venues. Thanks for having me!

Company Picnic Caricatures!

Kids, dogs, couples, I draw EVERYBODY!!
This company (which sells and repairs copy machines) hires me every couple of years to draw caricatures at their summer picnic. They are the only people who never say to me, "which one of us gets to keep the drawing?"

Thanks for having me again, Bart! and for the great feedback on Gigsalad:

First holiday caricature gig of 2018!

And it was my longest-running annual gig, a children's Christmas party. This year I did it alongside Patrick, John and Joe, my usual cohorts for the last few years. You can see why four caricaturists are needed in the photo above----people start lining up a half hour or more before we start!!
Santa always makes an appearance. Ho Ho Ho!
And I get to see my long-time friend Tina, who helps run things for the client:
It's always fun to draw all the little (and not-so-little) kids' faces!
This little Rudolph escaped before I could get a photo, but I was able to get a good likeness!
...and here are two of my regulars who are really growing UP!
After finishing in the mid-afternoon, Pat and John and I went out for a late lunch (Joe had another engagement)
and the restaurant had a big caricature hanging on the wall!!

Caricatures at World Clubfoot Day fundraiser...

in my local prominent children's hospital lobby.
My caricatures were sponsored by a local law firm, so they both made folks happy at the event AND were a great piece of marketing!

1st Birthday Caricatures

A lovely state park on a spring day was the setting for this little  blonde's first birthday:
It was a fiesta-themed party, as it was also Cinco de Mayo, so the food was yummy Mexican fare from a local restaurant.
Drew all the kids first, as is my custom...here's a few:
Below: She ran away to explore before I could get a photo (actually before I finished the drawing!)
At the end I drew the grandma and her sisters. FUN!!!
Thanks for having me!!

Arts Festival caricatures!

Freckles! Glasses! Gap teeth! Cowlicks! I can draw them all...
Hummelstown Arts Fest 2017 is happy to have me back several years running now...I was so busy I didn't really have time to take photos, but here are a few. The girl below told me to "make me crazy"!

End-of-school-year party

On Wednesday, I helped some sixth-graders and assorted family members celebrate a momentous occasion in a family backyard: "SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!"
Once again, the weather cooperated and I drew next to a pool swarming with kids, and didn't get splashed! See my easel in the gazebo?
And just like the day before, first up was the teacher. She told me to include a "hard multiplication problem and a hard division problem." To me, they're all hard!!
Here are some of the happy kids:
I had a great time at this party, and to top it all off the client booked me for another event coming up! AND she sent me home with edible goodies! Thank you!!!!
Before I left, I got a photo of the dining room table ( the keep-the-caricature-safe spot :-)
