Holiday Gig #17 of 2015 (last one of the year, too!)

Again, not exactly a holiday gig, but a retirement---so, permanent holiday for this lady!
Her staff gussied up a wheelchair for her, and made her a Stooge!
Then they sang a specially-worded retirement song for her!
My drawing time covered the end of one shift and the beginning of another, so I was able to caricature LOTS of folks.
Thanks for having me!!

Holiday gig #16 of 2015

Well, this one wasn't really a holiday party, it was a French-themed ( I wore my beret ;-) 12th birthday celebration that happened to be during the holidays. December birthdays shouldn't be minimized, and this one wasn't!
Julia's group of friends got full-color-with-theme caricatures, and then I did a group one for her. Thanks for having me!!

Holiday gig #15 of 2015...another wedding!

Another wonderful couple included my caricatures at their wedding reception in December, in another fantastic, historic venue:
Beautiful decor!!!
My easel was next to the fireplace:
Let the caricaturing begin!
Now for some REACTIONS!
And. of course, the lovely bride and groom:
What a wonderful evening! Thank you so much, Leana and Kevin, for having me on your special day!

Holiday gig #13 0f 2015

Another company luncheon in a lovely restaurant. This group was small enough that in two hours I could draw everyone in color, and then in a B/W group caricature. Thanks for having me!

Holiday gig #12 of 2015...a wedding!!

The week before Christmas, this couple got hitched and celebrated in grand style in a fabulous, historic venue. They were in such demand that the only photo I was able to get of them was as they waited to be announced...but I am getting ahead of myself. Look at this incredible architecture!!!!
Since it was such a festive occasion, my new wedding jewelry got a wearing again (I was a bride of a few weeks at the time!)
I started out in the magnificent foyer for the cocktail hour.
Here's a few I did there...
Then it was time to head to the ballroom:
Thank you and congratulations, Cheryl and Jean Michel!!!
This event came through Gigmasters and Cheryl left me some very appreciated feedback:

Emily was simply amazing. Everyone (from 3-85) enjoyed her artwork and it was a big hit at our wedding. I can't tell you how many people told me how much they loved the pictures. My husband and I will cherish the portraits that she did of us. I can definitely recommend her, she was great.

Holiday gig #11 of 2015...

I draw for this group every year. They are like old friends now!
The gig came to me originally through a caricaturist friend who sadly passed away last year, Bob Miele. The client and I miss him and his humor, along with many, many others.

Holiday gig #10 of 2015...

...was a corporate holiday luncheon held in this space, courtesy of the-nose.com. I've done events in the grand ballroom area of this venue but I'd never seen the top floor before.
Pretty nice!

They displayed them for the duration.  :-)
