Food Truck company picnic caricatures!

The rain (luckily) held off until 10 minutes before this four-hour event was over! Yay!!

The first drawing was a couple with their therapy dog:
( they take her to nursing homes to love on the residents)

Worked next to a new friend! WildflowerArtist.com
She took these pics of me at work:

What a great day! Thanks for having me!

Crazy caricature antics and storms at company picnic!

I had done this annual event in Delaware some years ago and this year, I did it under the auspices of my crazy colleague Patfreaky Harrington.

Emily's Ambiance Reel     Reaction Reel

We arrived on a HOT & HUMID day and started drawing eager (and sweaty) faces under a tent...

Then THIS MESS approached: (we were at the upper right)

Thunder boomed, lightning crackled and winds blew...so I literally THREW all my gear and myself into my car (haphazardly I should say) and sat out the downpour ...

Pat kept drawing. :-O

Eventually I joined him again and drew a bunch more, including whole families. I barely used any paper at this event!

Another company picnic at Loblolly Acres!

A sunny and breezy Sunday afternoon was the perfect day for a company picnic at Loblolly Acres, one of my favorite venues in Delaware... it also happened to be an afternoon that the Philadelphia Eagles were playing at home against the Rams, so there were several televisions thoughtfully set up at the picnic for fans (there was one directly to my left under the pavilion)...and apparently it was an INCREDIBLE game!

I got to work alongside these two talented entertainers: Kris and Holly,
who make the most delightful balloons!
This was the second time we all had done this company's picnic. :-)

Here's a few from my busy easel (yes, I included balloons, how could I not):

I surprised myself and was able to fit SIX faces on an 8.5 x 11 paper!! And they really chortled over it when they saw it ;-)
Thanks for having us!

Company Picnic Caricatures...

 ...for a treasured repeat client!

I use branded paper for them and it's always a hoot drawing for this crowd.

The playlist was all 70's and 80's music, so it was just right for us late-boomers and Gen-x-ers.

Hear what I mean in my IG REEL. :-)

Below: my client and her significant other, the playlist master!!!!
Thanks for having me again!
