I completed these digital caricatures last week, within a tight turnaround time (whew! :-) for the client, a corporate event production firm. These will be used on a large scale in such a production, and also printed out to be given to the participants. The colors I used for everything but the faces were specified by the client...of course, the real fun WAS creating those faces!

This is looking good! Along with all of the other stuff on your blog, just looked through the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteAnd now that I look at your style I think you might have drawn me maybe 5 or 6 years ago at a communion party I was at (unless you haven't been in the business that long, in that case it wasn't you)
I was younger then, maybe like 10 or 11, but I was still into caricatures, just didn't draw much of them, just admired.
Keep up the good work, and maybe next time I go to a phillies game I'll stop by and say hi!
Hey Dan, thanks! Yes, i was caricaturing then, it might have been me, (especially if I signed it 'Emily', haha) Shoot me an email...where was the party?
ReplyDeleteI looked at your blog, you have skills! And practice rewards you with more skills...so keep drawing!
