Cruise-themed Post Prom Caricatures

I've been really getting used to staying up LATE with all the post proms I've been doing this year!

This one was very local, and had a fabulous Cruise theme! Myself and the three other artists (all representing Caricatures by Courtney) were set up in an art gallery/cafe sort of area...

I used my brand-new gig banner for the first time, but this event was kind of its "soft debut", since I was not representing my company (and so covered up my website and IG info)
Here are some of the kids!

I forgot to get a pic of all of us artists together, but these will have to do:
Myself, with long-time colleagues Donna and Nelson,
and below, Julie hard at work!

Thank you Courtney!

Hollywood-themed Post-Prom Caricatures!

I had post-proms on both Friday and Saturday nights this past weekend...

yikes, it's a good thing I'm a night owl!

Set up in the hallway once again...I've been situated in the lobby, the cafeteria, and now the hall at this school and they always do a great job of decorating here.
Line-drawing-only caricatures:

Thanks for having me, GVHS!

Philly-centric after-prom caricatures!

This high school did their gymnasium proud. Click here to see my IG Reel.

From the Philly Love sign, to the Eastern Penitentiary, to soft pretzels,

to the food catered by our beloved Wawa,

was added my cute little caricatures. :-)

Here are some of my eager caricature sitters. At one point I had four dozen of them in line... and I asked the Principal to break it to them that I was never going to be able to draw all of them!  Next year, they plan on having more artists :-)

Headed home at 2 am........zzzzzzzz :-0

Senior Send-off caricatures at a university that will now only be a memory...

Friday's first event for me was at Cabrini University, which is being subsumed by a larger university nearby. So the graduates weren't just saying goodbye to their college years, but their college itself. It was still basically a fun afternoon, though, which included caricatures and yummy cheesesteaks and even an outdoor wine bar!

The mansion once belonged to  Campbell's Soup baron.
I did my line-drawing-only caricatures at this one:

I grabbed one of the last cheesesteaks to enjoy while driving to my next gig, and it was FANTASTIC.
Thank you for having me and good luck in your future endeavours, ladies!

Retirement Party Caricatures

Gig prep: I used a very old marker I recently inherited from my late father to do the calligraphy on these caricature papers. He  was an artist, too.

Here's the beautiful lady who just retired! Since it was raining, her husband completely cleared out their garage so it could become a gorgeous setting for her "Denim and Diamonds" themed party.
Check out my IG Reel about it.

I didn't take any individual photos because her daughter was making a marvelous Caricature Gallery, so everyone could see and enjoy them!

Her other daughter made that cake! I told her if she wasn't doing caked professionally, she should be! And it was as delicious as it looked. Happy Retirement Jackie!

40th birthday party caricatures!

This lady's gorgeous backyard was the setting for her boho 40th birthday celebration!
and here are some of her guests!

Thank you Aryn for finding my caricatures via Gigsalad! Happy 40th!

Caricatures at the actual PROM (not the post-prom)...

...means I don't have to be up all night! ;-)
I was set up in the lobby of a posh banquet facility in Delaware for this one...
With over 300 guests, it was time for line-drawing-only speed mode...

Thanks for having me! I'm glad I dressed up!!
