Company Christmas Luncheon Caricatures

My final gig before the holiday is this annual luncheon for a local law firm, they have me every year so I have gotten to know them well...and they look forward to getting a new version every December!

These two are longtime subjects!!!

Here's a group caricature: (but they dispersed before I could get a pic of them with it)

I always do this event with my friend ArtgirlDeb and this year was no different:

Carousel wedding Mini-caricatures!

What a fabulous and magical venue for a Christmastime wedding celebration!
This artist was THRILLED to be there! My caricature spot was alongside the carousel...
The first drawing I did, was of the bride and groom, from a photograph I took after the ceremony,
and was presented by their DJ to them, ON THE CAROUSEL!
Then it was time for mini-caricatures (5 x 5)of the guests:

Tee hee, after seeing it, and laughing, she then posed just like the caricature!

This guy liked being caricatured so much, he was drawn with his wife...AND his brother!
And the drawings look exactly the same!!!!!!!!

Here's the Ambiance Reel. Thank you to my client, and to Gigsalad, for putting us together!
I loved seeing the caricatures in their envelopes, on tables as I left.

Family Caricatures at church's Christmas Luau

This evening's gig was bout a mile from this scenic overlook, which I checked out because I had actually never been to this little town on the river (almost across from where I live!)  So I enjoyed a few minutes of post-sunset and took a few photos. When I got back into my car....it wouldn't start...

After frantically calling my husband, (who was literally 6 miles away) he asked me if anything was lighting up on my dashboard as I tried to start it. Yes...the key fob! It turned out that it was on its last dregs of battery juice, and if I held it right next to the ignition, the car would start. So I drove a mile to my gig (of course, I was still waaaaay early) and told my client I wasn't sure if it would start when I was ready to leave and she was so nice--she said they'd make sure I'd get home, if I needed any help.

I got right to caricaturing when everyone arrived...and so busy I didn't get a photo of Santa (but he was there too ;-) It was a luau party, too!

Thankyou so much for your kindness and in having my caricatures! Merry Christmas!

Moshulu-style holiday caricatures

Headed into Philadelphia for an evening gig, aboard the famous Moshulu, which is a famous restaurant/event space...

Arrival!
It was all decked out for the holidays! I was in the ballroom and the floors are definitely sloped for sailing in there (even though it never leaves its dock).

A view of the bar which was in the next room...
Too many amazing spaces here, so forgive the amount of photos:

Time to start drawing:

There were a large number of guests, so it was line-drawing-only mode for the evening.

Made him SMILE!!

Good night!
