15th holiday gig of 2024: a 1920s-themed party via The Bash

It was definitely not a Women's Bible Study night...

I dressed the part in my cloche hat (but wait til you see the guests!!)

Busy, busy night and my lovely client (who'd booked me via The Bash, even extended my time there--thank you!)

This party is always over the top! It's for the dining services staff at the University of Delaware. They love caricatures!

11th holiday event of 2024....a senior community celebrating with caricatures and a turkey dinner!

Some very interesting faces crossed my path that afternoon!

Residents  enjoyed being drawn!!

And so did staff. :-)

10th Holiday event of 2024: a hockey holiday/birthday swim party!

 This hockey team got together at an indoor public pool to swim, eat pizza and get caricatures! I drew a generic hockey body pose and copied it, so all I had to draw at the party were their heads! I also had time to do a few little sisters with Elves, and my clients! Thanks for having me!

7th holiday gig of 2024...cookies and caricatures!

 

This gig was a return visit to a senior community 

that always has folks in line waiting for me before I even start!

3rd holiday event of 2024...company party in Philly with GROUP caricature!

 The Friday night traffic was terribly gridlocked in Philly, which caused me to walk in right at my start time for this event...so I didn't get any photos of my setup, or of the atmosphere in this very cool restaurant. :-(

However, it was a fabulous gig! :-)

This company of creatives invited me to come and do a large group caricature they could hang in their office, and also do some drawings guests could take home from the party. Here are a few:

The guests were VERY happy! And so was I...because they all insisted I try the amazing yoghurt-washed, lemon-gin house cocktail (I usually NEVER imbibe while working, but how could I resist THIS?)

My lovely client had this to say on The Bash afterwards:

Emily was a DREAM to work with (before event and during!). She was so quick and able to do a huge group sketch along with all the couples at our event. Would hire her and recommend her to people in a heartbeat!
