Company Picnic Caricatures on a beautiful fall day

A second year doing this company's picnic in a Delaware state park, and the weather couldn't have been nicer (the first time was so cold and windy, we were all reminiscing about it!!) I'm getting used to wearing a mask and so are some of my subjects!

Ready to rock!

Since it was an outdoor gig, most people were not wearing masks, but I am wearing one for the duration of any gigs I do.

Thanks for having me again!! :-)

First caricature gig in MONTHS!!!!

The COVID-19 pandemic caused the longest hiatus I've ever had, in my caricature career. I hadn't drawn a live caricature since March 2020...but I'm back! The return to gig life happened at an outdoor country club event for young ladies...and it was hot, and humid, and my glasses kept fogging up from my mask...but I was THRILLED to be drawing again!!!!!

You can see how far we were able to social-distance (there were three other lady caricaturists there on the porch with me.) All the guests had to pass a Covid test to be on the premises (it was a three-day event for them, and they came from all over the country).

Now, was I rusty, or could I still draw???????

It was like riding a bicycle. :-)

What fun to be back at my easel! Except I had to clean the larvae from it after being in my garage for months..
