Hollywood-themed Gala Fundraiser!

This evening's event was a Hollywood-themed gala fundraiser for Kennedy's Cause...she is a warrior in the fight against LM (lymphatic malformation) and is just an amazing young woman! She and her parents run her charity, and it has helped so many people in the LM community. 

Was kept busy the whole evening and I was honored to be a part of it. Go, Kennedy!!

70th Birthday Party Caricatures!

This skiing-fan lady was given a surprise 70th birthday party at her sister's home, which included my caricatures!

Here she is on arrival (somewhere!)

Her sister, my client, is an old high school friend of mine, whom I saw at our last class reunion (where I drew caricatures, of course!)

These two ladies made my night, with their classic CARICATURE REACTION!

After-prom caricatures at a STEM high school...

These are an example of my line-drawing-only caricatures, when crowds are huge and drawing speed needs to be FASTTTTTTT! Done with Copic Sketch and Copic Wide markers (they don't make the Wides anymore, so I am hoarding the ones I have)

Graduation Caricatures...

 ...for a party held in a very nice restaurant. The graduate was BEAUTIFUL!!

Corporate event caricature in famous farmer's market!

 The Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia isn't just a grocery mecca...it's also an after-hours corporate event venue!

 This group of folks came from all over the country for a convention, of course they're gonna be offered such Philly staples as...PRETZELS. And CARICATURES!

 This school always does such a great job of decorating...

 ...even if they did mis-spell "Brigantine" ( I should know, it's one of my favorite beaches in NJ; my other favorite is Cape May)

Caricatures at an annual volunteer luncheon...

May brings an annual luncheon at a prominent local hospital, where I get to draw some very cool people...the volunteers who do all kinds of special things for the patients. It's nice to do something for them. :-)
