Soggy graduation party caricatures...

There should have been dozens of folks eating, drinking and celebrating under this tent:
Instead, the torrential downpours made their garage the place to be!
Close quarters or not, caricatures had the same effect they always do. :-)
My hairstylist of many years booked me for her son's grad party. Thanks, Sherri!!!

Kia Company Picnic caricatures!

I must say, I love drawing for this group (this was the second time)...since I drive a Kia! The setting was once again a leafy park on a cloudy day.
I drew these boys a few years back...they ran away before I could get a photo with them. Their caricature definitely caught each boy's personality, according to their dad. :-)

Grad party caricatures!

Drove upstate a little ways to join a family celebrating a recent high school graduation. :-)
This was the view from the parking lot!!
Amanda was the girl of the moment. For decor, all the tables had little round photos-of-her as confetti! Never saw that before.
Here family and friends were a hoot!
Thanks again to my client, and Gigmasters! :-)

Summer Pool Party caricatures!

They lined up before I started! :-) This was at a members' anniversary party at a local community pool, on a hot night perfect for dipping. You can see the band under the blue tent.
Kept busy drawing all ages, and drew to the sounds of Beatle and Tom Petty covers!
The lifeguards got drawn at the very end, and as I walked out, I could see they'd hung it in the office already! :-)

Brownie Troop gets caricatures at the pool!

At a year-end party for a local troop at a community pool, I drew all the girls first. Here are two of them:
 ...then some brothers!
 then the leader!
The pool manager liked my work enough to ask me to come back two nights later, for a summer pool party for the members! :-)

Caricatures at a three-day Biotech convention!

One sunny, hot morning in June, I found myself at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, ready to represent a local biotech company....by caricaturing an international audience of professionals as SUPERHEROES!
I drew and copied the bodies beforehand, along with the company logo, and then added the faces. The time it took me to do each person's caricature, was also exactly the time needed by Vencore's team to explain what their company is all about. :-)
Yes, the men outnumbered the ladies...but I drew some super-heroines too!
This lady immediately made it her Instagram profile pic!
A few more guys:
I drew folks from all over the globe: The Netherlands, the UK, France, India, Korea, and of course places all over the USA.
This is a two-headed American superhero!
There was lots of laughter, photo-taking, and comments that Vencore's convention swag was quite  enjoyable and memorable!
I also created, a little at a time as each person's schedule permitted,  a group caricature of the Vencore team---incorporating lots of little elements relevant to each person.
Thanks to Vencore for having me...and Gigmasters for making it happen!

Family Reunion Caricatures

I love drawing at family reunions. The mix of generations, and how people stayed bonded together across distances, is really intriguing to me. Not to mention the variety of related faces!
The gathering was held at a lovely rural home. I set up my easel poolside and drew the family matriarch first:
She had a whole bunch of children and grandchildren:
Hahah, nice reaction!
Below:The host and hostess were completely wonderful and hospitable. (Thanks again, you two!)
After everyone got drawn with their significant other, I stayed longer to do a few family groups! How much fan is that!?! (Alot!)
Have I said lately HOW MUCH I LOVE MY JOB???
