Sweethearts' wedding with personality--the groom wore coral polka-dotted socks!

and this caricaturist made sure to immortalize them in the drawing! :-)

It was held in a lovely riverside venue where I have gigged before:
My spot was on the covered porch:
where I had a great view of the bride and groom headed in.
Once the service was over, the fun began!

By the end of the night, folks were feeling really frisky!

Thanks go to Jen and Matt for having me,  and also Matt and Nat, the photographers who recommended me to the bride and groom! This is from their blog:

Post prom caricatures and reactions!

Another night where I needed a rare Red Bull...of course I mean a post prom!
When I arrived the parent committee was still hard at work decorating the school.
Then the seniors arrived!
I love doing post-proms, yes I'm crazy!

Communion Party caricatures

This lovely child was caricatured by me at her birthday when she was a wee toddler, and I drew her with Elmo. So he made an appearance in this drawing too.
Her party was held in a clubhouse on a beautiful pond...
My area looked out on this beautiful scenery!
There were many guests and I wanted to get them all done in the allotted time, so the only photos I took were of THIS couple ( and am I glad I did!)
I just KNEW from talking to them that they were going to react like that!
Thanks for having me!!! :-)

The 'Disney' post-prom

Another school where I make a yearly visit: this time the theme was Disney.
The lavatories are always over the top here!
Did this gig with crazy colleague Pat Harrington:
They seated us next to a giant slipper filled with candy and told us we were welcome to help ourselves!! Uh oh!
Too crowded and frenzied for lots of photos and I didn't get any of Pat's work, but I did get to hear him sing...he can draw and sing at the same time. I definitely can't sing, ever. let alone while drawing!!

Goodnight!!! and thanks to BettesBounces.com!

International Festival caricatures...including one snoozing little girl

I was asked to be part of this big International Festival, but because of a gig earlier in the day, I couldn't be there very long. But in the time available, I managed to draw a few sweet little girls--including one who slept through all the music and excitement!

Caricatures at the "Road Trip" post-prom

The entrance to this post-prom was hilarious! It's a tunnel on the Pennsylvania Turnpike!!
Inside, they had some inspired decor:
Spot the easel ( above)
This school's prom committee allows the public to walk through and enjoy their hard work before the students arrive; my new husband was on his way home from a job and stopped in!
Another late night with giddy teens---I do love these gigs despite the late hour!

Yay! Thanks for having me!
I wonder if anyone noticed I wore my t-shirt with an RV emblazened on it...

Nurses get Super-hero caricatures!

Nurses Week means celebrating the hard work that nurses do--- at this hospital they had a celebration with superheroes attending! And a caricaturist!
Woo-hoo! I drew full bodies at this gig! Wonder Woman was the most popular request, of course.
Below you can see my spot, next to Spider Boy!

These ladies rock!

Caricatures at another Nurses Week event!

Another healthcare facility treated its nurses to a fun afternoon!

It was my first outdoor gig of the year and it felt so good to be outside in my polka dots!
Thanks for having me!
