Silhouettes at a corporate extravaganza!

My silhouettes were part of a 2000-guest corporate gala at the Convention Center in Philly on Tuesday night, curated by a top-notch event planning team. There were sections for every conceivable Philadelphia cultural institution...sports, food, murals, fashion, music...and history, which is where BEN FRANKLIN and I come in!

I donned my Colonial garb and introduced guests to 1700's-style profile portraiture! And Ben hobnobbed with guests and posed for selfies!

A bit of my output for the evening:

Another amazing facet of this party was the fact that many traditional artists were part of it, even though its audience was tech-minded folks. It's great that old-school hands-on artistry is still appreciated!

There was also a Live Mural Artist:
And Mummers!
Below: My view of the convention center and Phila City Hall upon leaving!

I do wish I had more varied photos; there was so much more going on than I've shown here, as it was a  frenetic evening, and frankly a bit overwhelming being there! (Plus I had a very long line the whole time.) Here is my Ambiance Reel, and Other Artists Reel.
Many thanks for having me!

Country-style wedding caricatures in Delaware

This is the lovely sunset view from the barn of Evergreen Farms near Clayon, Delaware...
for the wedding reception of a very SWEET couple I met
at the open house of wedding planners PartyGirls DE
(Pic is just the groom waiting for his beautiful bride to join him ;-)
Reels: Ambiance.       Reactions!

Below: pano with the view of my caricatures station....

I did their caricature FIRST upon arrival:
And here they are with it!

The guests were delighted to be drawn and I was busy-busy-busy from the time I sat down:

(The Philadelphia Phillies were still in the playoffs--so this couple was cheering them on!)

I'd drawn THIS couple at their OWN wedding this past summer!

The matron of honor and her family:

Took home some cookies and pizza that the couple had thoughtfully ordered for all the late-staying guests!
Thank you for having me, Courtney and Mark!

Mini-caricatures at the Mutter!

A client booked me via The Bash for a combination Halloween party/trade show at one of my favorite venues, The Mutter Museum in Philadelphia!

So I did my speedy line-drawing-only mini-caricatures and drew 35 people in two hours.

Some folks were in costume, some weren't. All had fun!

I asked her if she was Freddie Mercury, and she said No," Ted Lasso!! But interesting alternative."
The very next morning this feedback was waiting for me on The Bash:

"Emily was great at our event and will book again for our next one. " 5 stars!

Thank you!!

Another company picnic at Loblolly Acres!

A sunny and breezy Sunday afternoon was the perfect day for a company picnic at Loblolly Acres, one of my favorite venues in Delaware... it also happened to be an afternoon that the Philadelphia Eagles were playing at home against the Rams, so there were several televisions thoughtfully set up at the picnic for fans (there was one directly to my left under the pavilion)...and apparently it was an INCREDIBLE game!

I got to work alongside these two talented entertainers: Kris and Holly
who make the most delightful balloons!
This was the second time we all had done this company's picnic. :-)

Here's a few from my busy easel (yes, I included balloons, how could I not):

I surprised myself and was able to fit SIX faces on an 8.5 x 11 paper!! And they really chortled over it when they saw it ;-)
Thanks for having us!
