Another lovely Communion luncheon

On Sunday afternoon, another little girl named Ella celebrated her 1st Holy Communion, ( I drew for a different Ella last week!) and afterwards, her family and friends gathered at an elegant country club for a reception. Entertainment included a talented pianist, (who played mostly Beatles tunes in very classy arrangements!) a fantastic juggler, and my caricatures...

Look at her very appropriately-dressed Precious Moments doll---and her cake was quite the confection, too!

The view of the golf course from the dining room was so pretty---with all the trees leafing out and the lilacs blooming. May is one of my favorite months of the year.
