The world is in a dreadful state lately, so I decided to march with the Freethought Society on Earth Day. Philly had one of the largest parades in the USA, even though it was a dreary, chilly, rainy day. I airbrushed a quick Mr. Einstein the night before---and then I met his doppelganger that morning at City Hall! There were LOTS of people marching, and lots of great signs!!
He was enshrouded in plastic at first because of the drizzle.
Hey look--it's Ben Franklin and Thomas Paine!!!
Here's Mr. Paine's sign:

I found lots of pics of my sign on social media and it even made the local paper, The Philadelphia Inquirer.
My husband added the arrows and posted this one on his Facebook! LOL
Afterwards, everyone met on the waterfront for a rally. Pictured is Margaret Downey, founder of the Freethought Society, (and my friend!) making a speech.
