Silhouettes at a Wilmington, Delaware wedding...

The University and Whist Club in Wilmington was the setting for  this couple's lovely wedding reception, which included my silhouettes!

I started out during the cocktail hour in the older part of the mansion:
...then moved, along with the guests, to a large elegant dining room...there were large screens for the guests to see everything up close!
My spot was right by the entrance so my sitters didn't miss a thing:
Since there was a very large number of guests, and it was non-stop busy, I hardly got any photos---but here are two:
His hair was amazing, how could I not get a photo of that!
It was fun for me to see the results of my flying scissors propped up on various tables.
Thank you so much for having my silhouette artistry at your reception! ;-)
The venue liked my art so much, they invited me to be a part of their wedding fair in 2020.

Silhouettes by Emily at the 2020 Irish Festival

Yes, this is an Irish lass----whom I actually cut from memory, as I've seen this classic movie (and others of hers) enough times to know her profile by heart. She ended up being my sample silhouette this year. Do you know who she is?
Lots of green to be seen here! I love decorating my silhouette-cutting spot!

It It wasn't ALL scissor-cutting all the  time...I did eat and watch some Irish dancing!

Slan for now!

Grand Opening Caricatures!

A chilly but fun day: outside a new health care center's Grand Opening! Along with various health screenings, they went home with caricatures!

Retirement party Caricatures!

Here's the man of the hour with his wife! He danced right in, to the joy of all his guests, and that's how I drew him!
The venue was a refurbished old movie theater--I took this photo from the balcony, which used to be the projectionist's area. Can you spot my set-up?
Yup, just to the left of the guests of honor's table.
Lots of folks sat for me, here's a handful of them!

Thanks ever so much for having me!
