Bridgerton-theme Baby Shower Silhouettes

 My Bridgerton-style empire-waist dress, fascinator and lace gloves all got another wearing just a week after a previous shower booking, with silhouettes!

This time it was an elegant BABY shower in a beautiful hotel on the Delaware, the Riverhouse at Odette's.

The host and hostess had a sign made just for me!

Silhouettes at a Quinceanera!

On Saturday, I had the privilege of being a part of this gorgeous, Victorian-inspired Quinceanera, held in a clubhouse in mid-Delaware. The young woman celebrated her 15th birthday and entrance into 

ladyhood with her family and friends, and my silhouettes, via The Bash!

My client even asked me to add another hour to my contracted time, as the guests were absolutely delighted to get a silhouette...I cut out 50 profiles in three hours...here they ALL are!

One of the guests was a superb confectioner....

she made these incredible marzipan-decorated rice-krispie treats. I took this one home!

Wedding vendor networking, with silhouettes!

I spent a lovely evening with some old friends, and making new ones... at a wedding networking event held by my friend Leslie of MarieandCoWeddings. Everyone enjoyed my scissors artistry, and the food artistry of Stonerail Market!

Family Reunion Silhouettes

 A combination family reunion/holiday party at the Whist Club was the perfect setting for my silhouettes, as many members of all ages, from near and far, of this family were present. Here is my Ambiance Reel. And some very enjoyable live music was provided by keyboardist Nathan.

Santa made an appearance too!

Wedding Silhouettes at a beach marina venue in Lewes DE!

 

This very nice young couple booked me last year to do silhouettes for their May wedding reception, and it was hard to wait many months for it to arrive! 

This is their full-length couple silhouette that I do after the event, from a photo I'll take at the reception. 

The venue was a very popular spot on the marina in Lewes DE, Irish Eyes Restaurant...so I was in my home state, albeit the other end! Of course I had to pop over to the beach for a little while upon arrival. 

The ceremony and reception were both on the second floor overlooking the marina:

Below:I do like using a bar-height table for silhouettes, because it's easier for folks to sign the guest book, they don't have to lean over so far. 

Here are a few subjects with their silhouettes: some couples wanted to be on the same backing card, others didn't.

The guest book is a cherished treasure for the couple. and it allows them to see all my work--they are definitely too busy to see it while it's happening at the reception.

First, the bride and groom: their bust-length silhouettes go on the first page in the guest book, and the duplicates go in a frame I display on my table:
