Fall wedding caricatures!

This was such a wonderful reception in a stone barn, the bride and groom are in the entertainment business so they really knew how to throw a party!! Check out my IG: Reel 1. (bride and groom's reaction) and Reel 2 (general atmosphere).

Here are all the guests I drew!

Beautiful micro-wedding at the beach, with my caricatures as wedding favors!

This couple couldn't have had a more perfect day for their wedding ceremony and reception...comfortable temps, low humidity and a gorgeous view of the beach made it a total pleasure! (And the venue did its part, too! ;-)

The Peter Shields Inn and Restaurant has recommended my services to quite a few brides and grooms now, for which I am very thankful...

because I love visiting Cape May, and making people happy with my drawings!

This time, instead of being inside, in the elegant parlor, I was outside on the breezy front porch!
My subjects were seated in the comfy wicker loveseat.

And I was honored to witness their ceremony (above).

Cocktail hour commenced with drinks and caricatures!

During the toasts and meal, I worked on the bridal caricature from a photo:
They were surprised!

Thank you both for having me!
And also for the unexpected hilarity of the greeting-the-guests wedding mirror:
Tee-hee!! 😆 but probably true for 99% of all brides!

Winter Wedding caricatures!

I arrived at this lovely backyard wedding celebration, right after doing my afternoon gig about 35 miles away... So I set up and immediately starting drawing in the family room, as the guests filtered in from the twinkly, warm tent outside!

Lots of couples!
Couple on right had been drawn previously by the mighty Ninjasketch in Hawaii! That's what she's showing on her phone screen!

The guests were all pretty thrilled with the caricatures. It was a fabulous night that flew by!
Thank you for having me and booking through The Bash!

Barn Wedding caricatures for a drumming groom and lovely bride!

The groom actually did a drum solo before making his entrance with the bride, to a shower of confetti from the guests!!
To see drum solo, and confetti toss, here is a link to my Instagram Reel!

The venue was the gorgeous Cross Gables Estate in Chester County, PA:

I was set up in the barn, on the left of the very popular bartenders:
...and I wore my white fascinator!
It was definitely a muggy evening with intermittent showers passing by...
But they didn't stop the fun from being had!

The client (bride) and I opted for my fast line-drawing-only caricatures, so as to get more people done.
Here are a few of the 54 guests I drew~

This was my view as I left!

Thank you for having me! :-)

Update: The bride had this to say in an email before she left for her honeymoon:

"We seriously can't thank you enough for making our wedding day so special. I for one have never had a caricature done before, nonetheless went to a wedding with a caricature artist, so this was so much fun! People are still talking about it, so you know it was a hit. Thank you again for your hard work and incredible art! I think we’re going to end up using the caricature photos as our thank you cards since they are so fun."

Gorgeous winter wedding, with my caricatures at the reception!

On a very brisk Saturday (BRRRR) this past weekend, my second gig of the new year happened to be an intimate wedding at a grand venue in NJ. It had an indoor mezzanine/balcony where the cocktail hour took place, then the reception itself was downstairs where everyone had a wonderful view of the wedding party descending a grand staircase to general excitement!

We'll start with my caricature of the bride and groom, and their reaction:

I worked alongside my friend and colleague Deb Schafer, was so good to see her!

The bride had asked us to take photos of all the drawings, so she and the groom could enjoy them later, of course, we gladly obliged! Here are some of mine. :-)

Thank you so much for having us Monica and Bobby! Best wishes! :-)
