High school's graduation celebration, in the gymnasium!

My husband deserves some heartfelt kudos here...he drove me to this event, and unloaded/loaded my gear for me, as I was just starting to recover from a bacterial infection after getting bitten by some insect. Needless to say, I was not feeling 100%, but I figured I could draw if he did all the other stuff. And it worked! 

My lovely repeat client even made sure my hubby came in and got something to eat (he was sitting in the car waiting for me). Thank you, N!!

8th grade graduation dance caricatures!

I drew ALL the students in the class of 2023 at this New York-themed 8th grade graduation dance. :-)

But I only got photos of these three...because it was a full-color gig and I was focused on getting them all done in two hours! :-) And I did!

Fun 8th grad grad party---in historic venue...

 I've been here to Aronimink Golf Club before for a gig, but not indoors...this time, I was situated in the Grand Ballroom.

(This was after arriving in the smoky dense air which permeated the entire Northeastern USA that day!)

The occasion was an 8th grade graduation celebration for a local private school... so they're really the class of 2027...

The minute dinner was over, this caricature artist was busy!!!

 Lots of guests, so I used

 my Line-Drawing-Only mode, to get them all done!

So.. aside from the fact that I love caricaturing in any venue, this one was particularly neat because we have a photo of my husband's grandfather, in 1939, in the same ballroom!!!

Silhouettes at a teddy-bear themed baby shower

Silhouettes are the PERFECT party favor at a baby shower!  

The mother-to-be already knew she is having a boy, so I was able to coordinate with blue backing cards for the silhouettes. Here is my set-up:

I even drew little teddy bears on each card:

Now for some silhouettes!

(of course my focus was on getting everyone done...so, not a lot of photos)

Her braid wasn't showing when I cut her silhouette, so I did do another one for this beautiful little girl~

I was also able to do silhouettes of the expectant dad (who was there at the very beginning) and their furbaby (from a photo) and I displayed them along with my samples...

Emily's artistic talent is truly unique and special. My guests were very impressed with her silhouette work. I enjoyed meeting Emily and she was a pleasure to have at my event. I couldn't recommend her enough!
