Customer Appreciation Caricatures!

A local credit union wanted to treat their customers to a morning of ice cream, face-painting, giveaways and my caricatures--I was happy to oblige! And the tent (plus my plastic bags) kept the slight drizzle from dampening my artwork. :-)

My husband was happy I brought HIM some swag from a nearby proprietor:

Thanks for having me, Del-One!

Corporate Cocktail Party MINI-Caricatures!

Last night, I drove a mini-distance...just one-and-a-half miles to my gig...which was nice for me. What was even nicer, was drawing such great folks, who were so enthusiastic about my work! My client opted for MINI-caricatures, which I am now offering. They are just 5" x 5", so they are both cute and easy to transport (there were alot of out-of-town guests). Check them out!!

ALL COLOR caricatures at wedding reception with great music and surprising guests!

This wedding had quite a few stand-out features!!!

First, the groom booked me via The Bash, and he and his new wife made a BEAUTIFUL couple.

Click here to see their reception, including their caricature reaction on my IG.

Second, they had booked an amazing musician, Dominique Hammons, to play for most of the festivities,
it was so enjoyable drawing to his music. You can hear his playing the the Reel linked above.
Thirdly, I got to do ALL COLOR CARICATURES, something I rarely get to do because they take longer. But the groom even thought of that...he booked another caricaturist to do B/W caricatures for friends, while I drew family members. Had never tried a system like that, so it was a first!
Here are ALL my drawings for the evening!

Above---the only "subjects with caricature" photo I took all night (other than the bride and groom) because I needed as much time as I could get to finish that many color caricatures!

Then the final amazing thing...while I was drawing, someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around to see...my neighbors! (left bottom in above pic). I said, "what are you doing here??" and she said the groom is related to us!!! So I asked if they'd recommended me to him, and the answer was no...it was TOTAL COINCIDENCE!!!!!!
I love my job! Thanks for having me on such an auspicious evening!!!! :-)

40th Birthday Caricatures for a fun-loving Delco family

I headed down to a popular beach town in Delaware, only to find out the party hosts and most of the guests were originally from where I'm from....Delco!!!

Before the gig, I spent a lovely couple of hours on the beach. :-)

Then it was off to a beautiful backyard surprise party on a balmy September evening!

The birthday girl was totally surprised, she got the only color caricature of the evening:

Here are few of the very chatty and happy guests:

Here's the Reel from my IG.

Three sisters: the hostess, the birthday girl, and my client:

So...CHARCUTERIE. It's become a very big THING at parties the last few years, but people have been mixing it up with CARICATURE (both long words that share many letters).  So....they wanted a "charcuterie artist that does cartoons" which turned out to be ME.   LOLOLOL!
She found me on my Google page. ;-)
Thank you so much for having me at Kelly's party!!

Company Picnic Caricatures...

 ...for a treasured repeat client!

I use branded paper for them and it's always a hoot drawing for this crowd.

The playlist was all 70's and 80's music, so it was just right for us late-boomers and Gen-x-ers.

Hear what I mean in my IG REEL. :-)

Below: my client and her significant other, the playlist master!!!!
Thanks for having me again!

Senior Citizen caricatures!

Senior citizen caricatures.... I've always loved doing them...even when I wasn't almost one!

This fella wanted a GO AWAY sign for his door!

He guffawed when he saw the drawing, and then posed for my photo EXACTLY how he posed for the caricature. :-)

This gentleman, everyone said, should grow a long beard so he'd be a perfect Santa. I concurred he had exactly the right expression!

I told this man he looked sorta like Curly Howard. He agreed. :-)

I told this man he reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe. He wasn't sure about that...

This guy shoulda been in Pirates of the Caribbean!

This couple were proud Dallas fans!

And I did draw a few ladies...

This facility was a repeat client from five years ago...my client, the new activities director, had been drawn at an event prior to the pandemic and brought me back. Thanks for having me!
