I'm often amazed at the incredible venues, especially historic ones, where I get to practice my art. This particular event was a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in the upstairs balcony of the Queen, a venerable old theater in Wilmington, Delaware. I've drawn there before, but was always downstairs in the main space. I wondered if folks would find me and my mini-caricatures, but shouldn't have worried---I was slammed as usual!

Fundraiser cocktail party mini-caricatures at the Queen!
The mural above was a portrait of a female artist at an easel! How apropos!
This is what we were overlooking:
These were mini-caricatures using my line-drawing-only mode, for speed.
You can click on these to make them bigger:
There were some kids there too!
A few more grown-ups:
And then I went downstairs and had a quick bite.
Thanks for having me!

High School Mini-THON caricatures!
Second time doing this event! And they booked me for a longer period than last year, so as to get even more students drawn. That being said, I drew 79 students in four hours, using my line-drawing-only speed mode.
You can see ALL of them here on this IG Reel!
And some reactions and ambiance. :-)
Here's a few other pics from a VERY productive afternoon!
Yay! Thanks for having me!

Making Strides against Breast Cancer... with caricature swag
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Pink ribbons, balloons and attire everywhere you look!
For the second year, my caricatures for returning walkers were being sponsored by CSC Global.
(This lady said to make sure I included her Grinch!)
I did have a pink hoodie on under my coat, but it was a chilly morning (my hours were 8:45-10:45, so my gloves were definitely ON!)
Thanks for having me!

Gala Rotary fundraiser caricatures for STEM education
My second gig on Saturday was at a lovely country club, luckily not too far from my first event. This was for a gala Rotarian fundraiser that I also did last year, and was honored to be asked back... to draw many new faces this time. (Along with a few who had wanted a drawing last year, but the line was too long!)
This gentleman and I compared notes on traveling to, and seeing totality of the recent solar eclipse. So of course, I had to draw it in his caricature!
Thank you once again for having me, Rotarians!

Grand Gala 2023 caricatures!
After leaving my first gig of the evening, I drove to my next, and actually used the valet parking because I had only had an hour!! Made it!
Once again, my skills were in demand at Wilmington, Delaware's Grand Gala...this year, it was held at the venerable DuPont hotel. They situated me on the landing between its two ornate ballrooms.
And I was busy from the moment it opened! Here they come!
What a fab evening!! And I wore my new antique hat.
