5th holiday gig of 2024---a Gala Fundraiser with CARICATURES

For my second event of the evening, it was back to the Hotel DuPont for another "The Grand Gala"...

This is actually the afterparty, so everyone is in a delightful mood!

Wonderful evening as usual, thank you for having me!

Grand Gala 2023 caricatures!

After leaving my first gig of the evening, I drove to my next, and actually used the valet parking because I had only had an hour!! Made it!

Once again, my skills were in demand at Wilmington, Delaware's Grand Gala...this year, it was held at the venerable DuPont hotel. They situated me on the landing between its two ornate ballrooms.

And I was busy from the moment it opened! Here they come!

What a fab evening!! And I wore my new antique hat.

I have done this event, Wilmington's red-carpet Grand Gala, several times over the years, but this time instead of being held in the Hotel duPont, the afterparty spread out among several areas in the Wilmington Opera House, which is what the fundraiser supports and is this party's whole reason for being!  I started out in the "Baby Grand" theater for the preview party:

Folks were a little shy at first, but then I was slammed!

Then I took myself and my easel out into the Historic Hallway, to draw even more folks:
