This lovely young lady celebrated her 10th birthday with her besties at a pool party, with caricatures!
I drew everyone individually first, including parents and siblings.
These got hung up for everyone to admire!
I advised the mom to tell parents to have their kid's caricature copied either at home or at a plave like Staples or Fedex Office, so they could have fun coloring themselves in withwhatever art supplies they enjoy. To that end, I also emailed an 8 x 10 version of the group caricature to my client, so she could share that with the kids, too.
Of course we were outside, in a nice shady sitting area under the deck...there was a chimney swallow nest in the corner, and the mama bird kept flying through here to feed her babies. That was a first for me!
