Silhouettes at The Waterfall, a wonderful Delaware venue, hosting its wedding fair...

 

Today was the debut of my new Bridgerton-style dress, during the wedding fair at The Waterfall, one of my favorite venues. I hope to use this outfit at many more silhouette gigs. It got as much attention and compliments as my silhouettes did!

I did set up a table as a home base, but for this event, I strolled through the lobby, solarium and two elegant ballrooms, looking for upcoming brides and delighting them with a silhouette.

Even found one groom there on his own, as his fiance could not attend that day...

At one point I could not find my scissors....right in front of me!

Of course I had to have a Bridgerton sample couple! Can you tell who they are?

Wedding Silhouettes at historic mansion

 A delightful bride and groom had me cut silhouettes to add a little Victorian flair to their reception, held at the historic Pen Ryn mansion on the Delaware River. Everyone loved the surprise of fine art favors!

 You can see the bridal couple in my IG Reel, I took photos of them and did their silhouette from those, before I started on the guests, so I could display it on my table.

Golden Hour September White-Wedding Silhouettes

This wonderful couple booked me to do silhouettes at their all-white outdoor wedding reception, 

(EVERYONE wore white, including me!)

at which they were keen to have a very relaxed and fun vibe. 

To that end, they had cotton candy, mini-golf, a photo booth and karaoke in addition to my silhouettes. And the venue, Springton Manor Farm, was spectacular! 

Being that it was held on a Sunday late afternoon, the celebration culminated in a sunset to remember! It was such a pleasure being a part of this!

You can see why I love doing silhouettes! The reactions are just as good as those for caricatures!

This was a giant piece of ancient granite embedded in the ground near my spot-- it was pretty neat 

and NO ONE tripped on it!

And this sunset--just amazing!!!!

Wedding Silhouettes at a beach marina venue in Lewes DE!

 

This very nice young couple booked me last year to do silhouettes for their May wedding reception, and it was hard to wait many months for it to arrive! 

This is their full-length couple silhouette that I do after the event, from a photo I'll take at the reception. 

The venue was a very popular spot on the marina in Lewes DE, Irish Eyes Restaurant...so I was in my home state, albeit the other end! Of course I had to pop over to the beach for a little while upon arrival. 

The ceremony and reception were both on the second floor overlooking the marina:

Below:I do like using a bar-height table for silhouettes, because it's easier for folks to sign the guest book, they don't have to lean over so far. 

Here are a few subjects with their silhouettes: some couples wanted to be on the same backing card, others didn't.

The guest book is a cherished treasure for the couple. and it allows them to see all my work--they are definitely too busy to see it while it's happening at the reception.

First, the bride and groom: their bust-length silhouettes go on the first page in the guest book, and the duplicates go in a frame I display on my table:
