Silhouettes at lavender-hued wedding reception!

 Another weekend brought another silhouette event for me, this time 

a lovely and intimate wedding reception ...

...where everyone wore shades of lavender and purple (including me!)

All the guests' silhouettes were pasted onto lavender backing cards...here are the bride and groom, whom I did while they were having photos taken:

I'll be doing their full-length silhouette (from a photo) in my studio. 

They opted for a guest book (purple of course).

Silhouette Wedding Reception... on the banks of the Chester River

 

This was the view from my cocktail-hour silhouette station near the pool, at a lovely wedding held at Brittland Manor near Chestertown, Maryland this past weekend. 

Here's the view of the silhouette artist! Got a good one with the timer on my Iphone!

It was just a lovely spot and the weather was perfect...so I was pleased to have gotten there early enough to enjoy some nature time before my performance time. 

The bride and groom had opted to have their silhouette done later from photos, so I concentrated on the many happy guests who were just as thrilled to be there as I was:

After cocktail hour, I moved to just outside the tent and continued to delight the guests with my silhouette artistry:

The bride and groom took advantage of the golden hour:

(And so did I by getting this photo ;-)

Silhouettes at a Wilmington, Delaware wedding...

The University and Whist Club in Wilmington was the setting for  this couple's lovely wedding reception, which included my silhouettes!

I started out during the cocktail hour in the older part of the mansion:

...then moved, along with the guests, to a large elegant dining room...there were large screens for the guests to see everything up close!

My spot was right by the entrance so my sitters didn't miss a thing:

Since there was a very large number of guests, and it was non-stop busy, I hardly got any photos---but here are two:

His hair was amazing, how could I not get a photo of that!

It was fun for me to see the results of my flying scissors propped up on various tables.
