Wedding Caricatures in Chester County

This weekend's wedding was on a beautiful farm, and was all outdoors. The weather definitely did NOT disappoint! I started out on the porch of an old stone-and-wood barn:

across from the top-of-line line (even glamorous!) porta-potties:
Hence, this sign! 😆

I wondered how busy I'd be, since my setup was not in the main tent, but I needn't have worried, and was busy the whole time!
You can see the progression of twilight in this composite of group caricatures:
As it got dark, I had a clip-on battery light on my easel, but eventually it wasn't enough...so I moved out onto the driveway...with the porta-potties as my backdrop! ;-)

Here are the links to my three Reels on Instagram about this reception:

(I actually forgot to get a regular photo of the bridal couple with their caricature. so you'll just have to watch Reel 3 above!)

Thank you for having me!!

Wedding caricatures in Berks County...

...which is an absolutely beautiful locale! So was the view at this country club!

This was the cocktail hour (accompanied by a lady harpist who played Led Zeppelin tunes!) setting for my caricatures. Wow!

I knew there would be a large number of eager wedding guests, so I had planned to use my speed mode of line-drawing-only caricatures, on colored paper (to go with the wedding theme of lavender and peach.)

After cocktail hour, I moved to the ballroom. While the entrances, toasts and first dances were going on, I drew the bride and groom from a photo I'd taken of them.

Ready for Round 2:

(kid escaped before photo)

The view as I left was beautiful, too! Thank you for having me!!

Arden Fair 2024

It's the only Fair I do...because it is just one day, has a wonderful, folksy atmosphere,

and it's close to home (in northern Delaware)!

Another "only": I provide both caricatures AND silhouettes here...and Arden Fair is always the Saturday before Labor Day.

Proudly wearing my ISCA hat!

Every year I am neighbors with a wonderful wreath artist, she always sells most of her inventory because her stuff is so whimsical! She made a silhouette lady with gray hair just for me!

Here's some of my output this year!

This couple went whole hog and got BOTH caricatures and silhouettes of themselves!!

After a long day at the Fair, the tradition is that my husband takes me out for Mexican food at La Toltecas. MMMMMMM, that margarita was good!!
