My mother still reads an actual newspaper and cut this out for me. Yes, I am a caricature artist....and a Pisces!
Who can tell me what famous image ( well, a tiny fraction thereof...) is behind the clipping? Whoever comments first-- correctly---on my blog or FB fan page-- gets a free digital sketch of themselves, by me! :-)
The only hint I'm giving is that this image is well-known enough to be printed on the blanket underneath the clipping.
My Mom does the same thing for me, but none quite so telling as this. You have a very perceptive Mom, so which came first the Artist in the mind or the Artist of the hand? I believe that in a past life I must have had some creative talent because it was always there as long as I can remember.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emme! My belief is that the MIND directing the HAND is what makes one an artist, and that's why it's so fascinating to see how the psyches of different artists come out in their body of work.
