Mother's Day in Birdland

Yesterday, it was especially enjoyable to be drawing caricatures at the Orioles game, as most were either of moms with their kids, or of kids for their moms...

Side views drawn live are not my strong suit...I've done relatively few of them in my career and I always mentally seize up when one comes along. I wish I'd made his chin recede more.

This couple was loads of fun to draw and chat with...it turned out she was Thai, so I told her all about my Bangkok-residing son.
