On Saturday night, my event was a grad party held in one of the Mummers string bands' clubhouses:

Mummers are a Philadelphia institution and the families who participate, oftentimes multiple generations, are a close-knit group...my easel was under a wall of awards for the captain:
The girl of the hour was Kayla, this is a drawing of her with her sister (and BFF):

This is the bartender, who gave me a hard time when I asked for a glass of water: "You're on the clock," he said, then laughed and gave me a big glass. :-)
