Day 1 at a Nurses' Convention!

Photobucket
My daughter graduates nursing school, and the next thing I know I'm being hired to draw nurses at a big convention!
My friend and fellow artist Marlo Meekins and I are part of a booth in the exhibition hall. We were asked to decorate the wall behind our easels with giant self-caricatures, so we created a truly joint drawing.

  1. Hello Emily!
Nice job , my favorite is the self caricatures. But I don't understand why are you use same paper size for couple like each people. Around the male faces have a lot of place and from the girls you cut a piece. It's not so good concept for a composition. Sorry about my bad english but i hope you understand everything.

  2. Hahaha Marlo..um, yeah!
Hey Peter, thanks for your observation. You are the second person lately who's noticed my tendency to favor the left side in my compositions. It's something I definitely want to work on now that I am aware of it!
As for paper, it's standard to use the same size paper no matter how many faces get drawn on it...
